Extracting a fixed image from a video file is much easier than it seems. If you are looking for a way to do this manipulation to obtain, for example, a beautiful photo, you will be able to do it in a few seconds from your PC, without installing any third-party software.
Open the Photos application and start by importing the video from which you want to extract a photo. To do so,
1-click the Import button displayed in the upper right corner
2-select the source from which the video will be imported.
1-Click on the video file from which you want to extract an image and start playback in Photos.
2-right-click on the video that is playing,
3-from the context menu, go to Edit and Create, and choose Save Photos.
The application should load the entire video and display a new editing window dedicated to saving photos.
Then scroll through the video frame by frame using the two arrows at the bottom of the window until you find the image you want to keep. Finally, click on the Save Photo button.
The extracted image is automatically saved in the Collection tab, next to the original video file. Simply right-click on the image and choose Open in File Explorer to go directly to the directory where the image was saved.
