Here is a selection of the most popular free and fast DNS servers, each with the IP addresses in IPv4 and IPv6, the two current versions of the IP protocol, of the two DNS servers (the "primary" or "priority" and the "auxiliary"). You can try them all without fear. The changes you make are all reversible. When you enter them, you can copy them to the clipboard and paste them into the appropriate field without making a typo.

Click on the Windows Start menu at the bottom left of the taskbar, then Settings (the gear icon). You can also use the Windows+I keyboard shortcut to go directly to Windows Settings. In the Settings window that appears, click on Network and Internet. Scroll down the page and click on Network and Sharing Center.
