Windows 10 offers many options to improve its performance and significantly increase its speed. Here are seven features and setting options to help you accelerate Windows 10.
Follow our instructions to disable the automatic start of certain programs and speed up Windows 10 :
1-Open the Task Manager with the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Echap].
2-Select the "Startup" tab.
3-The Task Manager displays a list of all programs installed on the computer. The "Status" column indicates which program is enabled or disabled for autostart. Search the list for processes that do not need to start automatically when the computer starts up. To change their status, right-click on the "On" or "Off" option in the corresponding row and choose the option you want from the context menu.
You can also select the desired program with a left click and then click the "Disable" button in the bottom right corner.
1-Open Windows Explorer and, in the left-hand area, click on "This PC".
2-Right-click on the hard disk whose data you want to rearrange. In the context menu, click on the "Properties" option.
A dialog window will open with information about this drive. In the "Tools" tab, click on "Optimize".
In the new "Optimize Disks" dialog window, select the desired hard disk again with a left click and start the defragmentation process by clicking the "Optimize" button.

1-In the search field on the taskbar, type "Show advanced system settings" and select the corresponding result.
2-In the "System Properties" dialog box that opens, select the "Advanced" tab. In the "Performance" section, click the "Settings..." button.
3-The "Performance Options" dialog box opens. Click the "Advanced" tab and then click "Edit" in the "Virtual Memory" area.
4-Uncheck the "Automatic management of the exchange file for drives" option. You can now choose the "No swap file" option.
5-To save these settings and disable virtual memory, confirm your choice by clicking "OK" in all open dialog boxes.
1-In the search field on the taskbar, type "Adjust Windows appearance and performance" and select the corresponding result.
2-The "Performance Options" window will open. By default, the tab that interests us is displayed, "Visual Effects".
Choose the "Adjust for best performance" option. Windows now gives priority to performance rather than visual effects. You also have the possibility to set some parameters yourself. Choose manually each effect that should be displayed.
3-Confirm your input by clicking "OK".

2-Select the "Applications" section.
3-Windows 10 displays a list of installed programs. If you identify an application that you are not using, select it by left-clicking on it.
Then click the "Uninstall" button.
4-Repeat the process for any software you do not need.

2-Select the "Privacy" section.
3-In the left menu, select the "Background Applications" item.
4-Disable the "Allow background applications to run" feature to generally disable the ability to send notifications. You can also disable this feature for certain applications only.
1-In the search field on the taskbar, type "Disk Cleanup" and select the corresponding result.
2-Choose the disk you want to clean and confirm by clicking "OK".
3-Windows 10 automatically calculates the amount of space that will be freed by the cleanup. In addition, you have the possibility to manually choose the files to be deleted.
4-Select the files to be deleted and confirm by clicking "OK".
